Lets face it, the average gal is not about spend over $100.00 on any outfit. But, you can still look stylish and trendy on a budget by following these easy tips. There are some many boutiques selling contemporary women clothing that are way too over priced with little value and quality products. The moment you see an item over $80, I’m pretty you begin to scratch your head. However, you can still find trendy, hot and stylish pieces that look super expensive which can cost little to nothing.
I was introduced to Femme Luxe Finery just over a month ago and I have fallen in love with their pieces, so much that I had to write about them again on the blog. They sell a wide range of women outfits from dresses, jumpsuits, dresses, shoes, you name it, they have it. But, their dresses collection is just amazing, very diverse and stylish pieces. Their pieces range from as low as £5.00 – £50.00.

How To Look Stylish And Trendy On A Budget
You don’t need a lot of money to look good, shopping sites are not as expensive if you know some shopping hacks and what to look for.
Colours and Tones
Start experimenting with colours and tones and see which ones work well with your skin tone. Not every colour fits everyone the same. What is your favourite colour? The wrong outfit colour can throw off the entire look and even give the outfit a cheap look. The same outfit with a different tone can look even better. Bright colours can sometimes come off as cheap looking but if styled the right way can give a more killer expensive and stylish look. I am wearing mustard and orange below, two colours I rarely wear, particularly the orange, but I made them work.
Know Your Style
Work with what works for you, instead of spending time and money buying an item that you would probably never end up wearing, opt for styles that you love and adore, styling them will only become easier. I love mini dresses but I also love midi dresses, if I am looking to shop both, I pay attention to what fits my skin tone, my body shape and what will go well with accessories I plan on wearing. Knowing your style obviously helps you not to over spend, hence saving back a little.
Keep it simple
A lot of people think that the more items you’re wearing the better you’ll look, wrong! The simpler, the better! Stick to one or just two pieces, don’t over accessorize, keep the footwear simple but chic. I added a layered necklace to every look and a trendy black shoulder bag and that’s about it. Don’t forget that a watch is also an accessory, feel free to make use of your watches. Black is one of favourite neutral colours, not only does it gives the illusion of a slimmer look, it hides a lot other things that tend to show up whenever you’re wearing other colours.
Don’t forget your personal touch. Remember an outfit does not make you look good but you make an outfit look good. Own your look!
