I switched up my foundation to the Mac Studio Fix Foundation SPF 15…I switched again…well not really, I just had to replace some empties. First, in a very long while I managed to finish a foundation and that was the L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matte. This was my go to foundation for the most of 2017.
Mac Studio Fix Foundation SPF 15
Decided to give my Fenty Beauty Pro Filtr foundation some company, so I purchased from a brand I grew up to love and somehow left behind a bit throughout my adult years, MAC cosmetics. I grabbed their new Mac studio fix foundation and their skin finish powder. I went to one of their local stores for these, so I didn’t have a problem with the shade, the only thing now, was for the products to live up to the standards that people are talking about.
Firstly, it’s a medium to full coverage foundation, so it can be used to create a natural look or you can also add more product to your face for a bold look. I bought the shade NC50 and the container is 1.0 oz, it is a small foundation but right now it’s doing great as a sidekick.
Its easy to apply and spreads easily, a little can go a long way. When it dries, it gives a matte finish. I like it so far, it looks great on the skin. It is actually for people with oily skin, so if you have oily skin and want to try new foundation, you can try this one out.
Also, I have always liked Mac face powders, I haven’t worn a face powder with my foundation in a while so decided to get their skin finish powder as well, the skin finish powder does a great job at setting the foundation and giving you that complete look.
Even though it’s not a part of the title, I also bought their makeup removing wipes which contains micellar water, which I have read, has great cleansing properties, it not only removes your makeup but it cleanses your face as well. I am mad excited about the wipes, they are really good.
The package has 100 sheets and they do a pretty good job at removing my makeup, eye makeup and even my matte lipstick. It leaves your face feeling refreshed and makeup free, I honestly haven’t purchase a makeup remover which was this good in a while. I would normally use my cleansers to wash off my makeup, but this one is worth the purchase.
