I love impromptu visits and that’s exactly what this one was. My boyfriend and I decided that we are going to grab something to eat at Cuddyz Sports Bar and Restaurant while we were on the road attending to other business.
I have always wanted to visit Cuddyz, so I easily ran with the idea when he recommended it. They were actually closed business for a while and have reopened for the past months. Cuddyz is owned by past West Indian Cricketer, Courtney Walsh and is located at Shops 4-6, New Kingston Shopping Centre, Kingston, Jamaica.
We arrived relatively early for dinner, as I mentioned, it was just for a quick bite. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the security guard, he was very warm and polite and then by our waitress, who greeted us as well and took us to our table. We seated very quickly, as it was almost empty at that time of the day. The atmosphere was very calm and relaxing, which I loved.
We were handed our menus, then a few minutes later, we ordered our meals. I ordered Crowd Catch – which is shrimp with mashed potatoes and vegetables (as a shrimp lover, I had to get this dish).
The moment I was starting to get impatient, our foods arrived. The Crowd Catch dish can be seen below.
For drink I got Float like a butterfly Daiquiri for my drink (see below).
As for boyfriend, he decided on their BBQ breast stroke sandwich and he got Double Dribble for his drink (we forgot to take pictures of this one…).
For a quick, first time stop, the food wasn’t mind blowing good but was good and definitely worth a try. I really enjoyed my drink and the environment. The overall experience for me is a 6/10. If you would like to give them a visit, again, they are located at Shops 4-6, New Kingston Shopping Centre , Kingston. Visit their website for more information here.
