Happy Saturday loves! Today I will be sharing the un-boxing of my very first subscription box. I am very pleased that it is a subscription service from home (Jamaica). I decided to try out Sugar Plum subscription service.
Sugar Plum is the very first Lifestyle subscription service based in Jamaica and I have been obsessed with them lately. I learnt about them a few months ago, June specifically, on a follower’s Instagram Page and I have been intrigued ever since; so much that I had to get my hands on one of their subscription boxes.
Sugar Plum “Hello Queen” Box
I got my hands on their “Hello Queen” subscription box, which was their box for the month of October and I am super excited to share the items inside. Sugar Plum typically do 10 boxes per year, but there was something about the theme of this box, that I had join in on the fun. If it sounds good so far and you’re not located in Jamaica, no worries, because they ship internationally, so you can get a box too.
Cost? If you’re wondering how much a box like this will cost you…Sugar Plum has provided several ways for you to pay for your boxes. You can pay for your boxes monthly for $37.00, you can also pre-pay for 3 boxes and this costs $105.00 and also you can pay down for 6 boxes and this will cost you $195.00. Payment options are PayPal and offline for Jamaican residents.
Each box typically contains 5 Lifestyle products and they do throw in a surprise additionally product or two and that’s what makes it even more amazing.
Now back to the Hello Queen box I received, the box came with quite a number of items, more than the typical 5 products. These included:
Lip Scrub & Lip Balm from Natural Annie Essentials – I am super excited to try the lip scrub, because I have been wanting to get my hands on a lip scrub ever since. The lip scrub contains calendula oil, herbs, Shea butter and is colored with beet root powder. Yes please! I can’t wait to scrub these lips. The lip balm is honey flavoured and smells just as great.
Also received a bronzer highlighter set!
Neam Healing Soap: The healing soap is made in Jamaica and contains neem leaves which has antibacterial proerties, castor oil which gets rid of build ups and excess oil from the skin and grape seed oil which moisturizes the skin.
African Inspired Necklace: The necklace is handmade here in Jamaica with African Print Wax from Nigeria. I have tried it and I love it! Hello!
Head Wrap: I received a head wrap as well. Head wraps are trending lately and I have never tried them before, but since I received such a gorgeous one with little effort I might just get in on it.
Bath Body Works Shower Gel: I also received a travel size bath and body works shower gel. Smells amazing! Can’t wait to use it in the shower.
Bio Oil Samples: I have used bio oil before and the product is really good. Bio oil is used for improving the appearance of uneven skin tone, scars and stretch marks. They packed two samples in the box.
Ding Ding! Bonus Item: Neon Energy Drink – Remember I mentioned earlier about surprise items? I received a Neon energy drink as a bonus item, never had it before but it will surely come in handy with this busy work life of mine.
There you have it, the details of the products inside the Hello Queen box.
When you receive a subscription box with beverage, makeup, skin care products, and accessories, it surely brightens your day. I hope you enjoyed this review.
