Hey loves, glad to be back with another post. It’s April and I promised more style posts since the start of the New Year. Spring has sprung and they are so many styles and trends I am absolutely loving.
Spring has Sprung
Firstly, let me just ask if you have fallen in love with any new colors lately…I am currently obsessed with yellow or mustard and olive. They are spring perfect! They make great outfits and shoes too! Speaking of mustard and yellow; I found this plaid pants with the perfect yellow stripes at the side, it is so stylish and chic that I had to shoot it for you guys. Plaids are trending right now, particularly, black and white plaids and they are perfect for spring. If you remember from my last post I was wearing a plaid skirt from Fashion Nova, I can’t get enough of them. Plaids are also trending in jackets, crop tops and so much more. This one I bought locally, but of course your girl has to hook up so that you can shop a similar one online, I will definitely be sharing that link below.
Styling Black & White Plaids
Today, for this post, I am styling black and white plaid pants with cuffs with a wrap black top, clearly I can’t get enough of those either. I also pulled out a pair of my black pumps to complete the look. Of course, to accessorize I am bringing back my hoop earrings from two posts ago, if we all can remember years ago that these loops were a thing and now they are back like they never left. I also grabbed this mustard bag locally they can be detached easily to suit your style. It is the cutest little bag and big enough to hold your makeup and phone.
This is a simple look that you can dress down or dress up depending on the occasion. When styling black and white plaids, you can definitely pull out a pair of white sneakers and a graphic tee and dress down the look for a more stylish street style look.
If you decide to rock this look or a similar look. Here are a few of my tips for styling black & white plaids.
- Opt for a leather jacket and a pair of your black heels for a boss look
- Pull out a matching crop top and bring that sexy back
- Plaid on plaid never hurt nobody, grab a another plaid top and take the spotlight.
- Denim is always a good idea, don’t have a plaid top? pull out your denim blouse and shut it down
- Tees are chic, pair them with white sneakers and your sunnies and let them talk that talk.
If you have different ways for styling your plaid pants, please share them below. Thanks for reading, one love!
