I am so happy to be sharing more and more of my personal style with you all. I have come to realize that the older I get, the more comfortable I am in my own skin. As a 23 year old, your 20s is that phase of your life, I would believe, that is filled with life changing changes. There are too many good and bad changes that I am sure will occur for you as it has for me, so if you are in your 20s and having similar experiences, it is key to remember that every experience is a lesson, which will help you to become a better person or version of you.
Today, I want to share this outfit, as I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try new styles and trends. I am really was just a jeans and T-shirt type of girl and a pair of flats but I am grateful and loving my transition, as change is good.
With these new changes in my life I feel invincible and more confident in myself that whatever comes my way, I will have the strength to overcome.
Your 20s is that phase of your life also, to try new things, see what you like to do, or wear, or eat and what you do not like to do or wear or eat.
Here are 5 lessons you will learn in your 20s:
- You do not have as many friends as before
Since of late, I really do not have that much friends as I used and that’s totally OKAY! I have come to realize who was really meant to stay. Your interest may change and you may realize that you’d rather do things on you own.
2. Life doesn’t get easier
Remember when you were younger and you would tell yourself that you can’t wait to reach your 20s thinking that life would be so much easier? Lets all laugh together! In your 20s, you have to figure everything out.
3. You don’t have everything figured out
We tend to feel unaccomplished and find ourselves competing with 30 something and 40 something year olds. You want to get married, want a house, a car, want to travel. Also, you realize that you want to get everything done, when in reality, you have plenty of time left to get all of that together.
4. It’s really hard to save money
Maybe you’re living on your own to get your life together, you will have to pay bills, the need to purchase food and maintain a life. You may have a job that is not paying enough to cover your responsibilities, so it is really hard to put money aside for your future.
5. It’s okay to try new things
Take the risks you have always wanted to take, wear something different, go somewhere different, conquer your fears, find a new hobby. You will realize how fulfilling it can feel.
Always remember that you’re strong enough to pull through anything happening in your life. And, when life hands you lemons, make lemonade.
I really hope you enjoyed this post and I would love to hear all the lessons you learned in your 20s.
