2016 was a trendy year, a lot of styles surfaced and others were recreated to look more modern and fashion-forward, don’t you agree? There are some trends we all have seen enough of, I am sure we can all agree to do that. Certainly we don’t want to see anymore of them in 2017, but there are some that I am personally rolling over into 2017.
I love a good outfit, something simple yet, fashionable and well “looks good“. Pairing outfits together is definitely not rocket science. I want to share some of the styles I am bringing over into 2017 and how I am putting them together to make a complete stylish look.
The first trend I am rolling over is of course Peplum tops, I love peplum tops. They are girl and stylish and full of flare. I grabbed a simple black peplum top just the other day, as I saw I knew it look great. The truth is, I never actually owned a peplum top before; shocking much! because a truly love them from the bottom of my heart. I went for black because, oh well, I love black…definitely going more colours for 2017, I promise! Peplum tops come in many different styles and colours, they are super chic. They hug the body in the just the right places
Then I grabbed a high-waisted jeans, they are still trendy and makes a great street style outfit. I always loved cuffing my jeans and still though, It does make your jeans pop, particularly since I am wearing it with heels, there is nothing cuter than a cuffed jeans with heels. You can always cuff it yourself, if it doesn’t come cuffed.
To seal the deal on my entire outfit. I grabbed a pair Lucite chunky heels, love love! They are oh so comfortable, trendy and fabulous. Lucite heels are becoming more popular and I really want to add a pair or two to my wardrobe.
An outfit like this can definitely be worn on a date night or to the club. I am honestly feeling fabulous in my outfit, it is simple, doesn’t show much skin, but definitely an eye turner.
What do you think? Tell me below.
See you next time, xoxo!
