Maybelline Dream Cushion Liquid Foundation Review

Maybelline Dream Cushion Liquid Foundation Review

Maybelline Dream Cushion Liquid Foundation

I was super excited when I received the email from influenster that I will be receiving the new dream cushion liquid foundation from Maybelline. I really do have a different love for foundations and I simply cannot have enough. I have never heard of this foundation before, so I started doing my research before hand, hoping that it will be a good one for my skin.

Maybelline dream cushion foundation is a liquid foundation that you can use on the go or almost anywhere. It is said to provide luminous coverage and comes in 8 shades. I received shade 55 which is their second to last darkest of all shades. It is not a perfect match for skin as most foundations aren’t, but I made it work, so that I can share a review with you guys.

This is how the packaging looks (see picture below), very cute and simple. I love that they provided the shade information on the face of the package, so that you can easily make your decision on whether or not to get it. 55 is the shade caramel.

It comes with this super cute sponge applicator that you can easily wrap around your finger when applying the foundation.

Then, the cushion is where the liquid foundation itself is stored, you simply press in the cushion with your sponge application to gather the foundation.

I was really eager to try it. So this review is exactly one day after receiving my package.

Application: As recommended, I pressed in the sponge in the cushion and then applied to my forehead, cheeks, nose and chin and blended in to create this final look (see pictures below).

Thoughts: It does give a luminous finish as stated, it is super easy to apply and not messy at all like most foundations when applying, I like it. It is not the perfect match for my skin but it is wearable.

Cost: the cost on is $15.99. In my opinion, this is a pretty decent pricing, it might be lower elsewhere or higher. If you would like to get it and give a try for yourself, you can always visit

For me, I received this product free of cost from influenster for testing and review purposes. If you liked to get free products to review as well, you can join influenster for free here. P.s you don’t need a blog to join and review products.

So, that’s it. I hope you enjoyed this review. Feel free to drop your questions and comments in the section below. I will never hesitate to reply.

I remember using the Dream foundation when I was in my teens and I love that they’ve brought it back in a new form! I may have to try this out when I run out of my current Maybelline foundation (#112 from the “Fit Me!” line)
