Today I will be featuring fashion blogger Mademoiselle Coconath on the blog. During my daily blogging routine I met Mademoiselle. She’s the owner of Mlle Coconath’s blog, I absolutely love her blog and ideas and I had to get an interview with her. I will be sharing her blogging journey with you guys and I hope you will be able to take away something from this interview. Don’t be afraid to share your thoughts by commenting below.
Delaine: Please tell the readers about yourself and your blog. Why did you decided to start blogging?
Mademoiselle: I wanted to blog for awhile now but finally decided to launch my website a few months ago. I was mostly attracted to the sense of community the blogging world has, and I wanted to share my passion with people with similar interest.
Delaine: How was blogging at first?
Mademoiselle: I am still learning everyday, but it is definitely hard work if you want to make it as a career. I love it, it became a passion, so I really don’t mind putting the efforts necessary. It was very scary at first though, especially clicking the first “share” button. I guess when you start out, the fear of judgement makes you overthink. It gets better, I promise!
Delaine: What promoting strategies would say say are best for you?
Mademoiselle: Don’t be shy and share your post on all your social medias. You can’t be scared of putting yourself out there. Networking and meeting new people online is also very important.
Delaine: What do you think is the best service a blogger can provide to his\her readers?
Mademoiselle: If you are a fashion blogger like me, I would say sharing your knowledge and your style with your readers. Give them something to come back for and don’t forget to stay honest about any product you are reviewing.
Delaine: What was your greatest failure and how did you learn from that?
Mademoiselle: I’ve been failing at a lot of things in the past year. I guess that’s what happens when you get out of college and try to make a career for yourself. It made me realise that you can’t trust anyone until proven the person deserves it, especially in the business world. I have been relaying on myself for a little while now and everything is starting to get brighter.
Delaine: If someone who wants to start blogging, walked up to asking for your advice and you only had a few minutes to give ‘them your best tip, what would it be?
Mademoiselle: My best tip would be to be consistent, create the best posts you possibly can, get yourself out there and don’t forget to promote. If you don’t, all the wonderful work you did might not get the audience it deserves.
Delaine: Have you met any interesting/famous person on your blogging journey?
Mademoiselle: Not yet, but I would love to one day. It will be a great way to learn.
Delaine: Tell me about your proudest achievement.
Mademoiselle: I am proud of the work I have done around my website. Coming from someone who knew nothing about the blogging world less than a year ago, it makes me happy to see how far I’ve come. If you work hard on something, don’t feel shy to say you are proud of yourself, you should be!
