I made my first restaurant week stop at the one place I have been wanting to visit all year, Fromage Gourmet Market (Bistro). I have known about the restaurant week event for approximately four (4) years now and this is my first time going out to eat during the event. I was super excited to taste new food and visit a few restaurants for the first.
Fromage Gourmet Market | Restaurant Week Jamaica
For those of you who are not necessarily familiar with restaurant week. Restaurant week is typically held around this time of the year and it is where most restaurants come together and offer exciting menu options at discounted prices to the public. The restaurants are apart of different categories such as; “tasty“, “delectable“, “nyam and scram“, etc. The event will last from November 10-18th. Fromage Gourmet Market is apart of the delectable category and depending on the categories, the discounted pricing and meal options varies.
A fun girls night out it was, with good food and catching up on the good stuff. After arriving, we were seated immediately, without a reservation and handed our menus. The menu was a bit concise, surprisingly, but had some interesting meals to choose from. I chose their Cream of Pumpkin Soup or starter. If you know truly know me, then you will understand why. It was a bit different, a bit creamy but really good. I had their crabbed stuffed chicken served with potatoes for the main course and for beverage, I had the cranberry Jameson mix and to close the night with a little dessert, I went for their Bailey’s Ice-Cream Sundae. All in all, the food was good, well prepared and tasty and I can’t wait to visit again soon.
