We are all wearing lighter, printed, brighter and shorter clothing to fight the summer heat. My summer has gotten even more comfy with this look. Here are a few more staples that I’m adding to my wardrobe this summer.
Bermuda shorts are an all time favourite for me. There are so many styles of Bermuda shorts around and they are making some of the cutest summer outfits. They come in knee lengths, short shorts, with cuffs, without cuffs, printed and solid colours, etc. Surely this one caught my eye at a local store, not only because of the trendy tie at the front but my favourite colour is red well this one is burgundy but you’re getting the picture. It’s loose fitted, therefore air can pass through easily, it is short but not that short, which makes it comfortable enough for me to wear casually in the streets.
Bermuda Shorts & White Sneakers
White tees: T-shirts are universally versatile and can be styled with a lot of clothing items. I actually shot this shirt before with a different bottom with the intention of sharing it on blog and wasn’t feeling the look, so I decided to hang out to it. It’s cute enough just the way it is, with the unique striped short sleeves and collar. The green print at the front complements my burgundy shorts perfectly.
When I was younger, I wore a lot of sneakers, to school or casual events. My mother graced me with this cute little white sneakers from Champion that I have been loving and wearing a lot lately, definitely hanging on to one of my youth favourites for the summer.
Bandana: I can’t tell if these will ever be too stale to grace the streets. When I envisioned this look, it was clear that I needed a bandana to complete it. They make cute neck ties that are extremely affordable that adds that extra touch. I found these pieces and similar if you want to try out this look.
