I visited Greats Huts in mid August 2017 while I was on vacation and it is like no other place, I have visited before. Located in Portland, Jamaica; this place is well thought out, unique, breath taking and a must visit. They are a Eco-friendly hotel, therefore, it is not your typical air-conditioned room, flat screen TV type of hotel. It’s cozy and beautiful just the same, the rooms are Huts as the name suggests and the property is perfect for those who seek adventure and loves nature.
Moon Place Jamaica Grande Resort and Spa
Right in the heart of Ocho Rios, this all inclusive Resort is for those of us who would rather enjoy all the right amenities in just one place. They have amazing 5 restaurants with delicious food, swim up bars, awe spa, pools, a gym and so many attractions right on property.
Devon House Jamaica
Maybe you landed on the south coast of the island I want to check out a few spots before you end to the beautiful beaches on the north coast, fine that’s fair enough. One of the first spots that should be on the top of your list is Devon House. Located less than 30 minutes away from the Norman Manley International Airport. The place is an island gem, with historic significance, it is a colonial mansion decorated with restaurants, bakeries, ice-cream shops and so much more. The island’s best tasting ice cream is right there waiting to delight your taste buds.
Ricks Cafe, Negril
You just want to let all your worries go, even if it’s just for a minute. This spot is for those who seek that heart-pounding and adrenaline rush experience that you will probably not believe you did when you head back home. Say no more, this cliff diving experience is spectacular and an experience like no other.
Rafting on the Martha Brae River
Imagine lying down on cushion of bamboos, surrounded by chirping birds and lush green vegetation, being carried away by soft waves of a river clothed with crystal clear blue waters. Can you see it? Rafting is an escape and helps to keep you calm, cool and collected; if you need to get head straight again and your mind refreshed, it’s absolutely breath taking and comforting.
